Finds the coefficients of multiple variable linear equations. Uses the method of
least squares. Example: This example has 8 points with two known variables. The example looks at children's age and height with the Dependent variable is weight. The MLR gives the equation that can be used for a child's age and height to predict the weight. Therefore if a child's age is 7 and Height is 51 the equation is: Weight = 7 X 3.68085 + 51 X .943236 or Weight = 58.1702 |
